“Our main research thrust is to apply polar organometallic reagents incorporating special cooperative effects to key bond forming transformations and to rigorously understand the chemistry involved. Some of our recent contributions have opened up the exciting new areas of air and moisture compatible polar organometallics and alkali-metal-mediated low polarity metalations as well as developing new s-block metal catalysts.”
