Originally from Highland Perthshire in Scotland, I received my Masters in chemistry from the University of Strathclyde in 2021.

For my Masters project I studied informatics-driven catalyst design for Ir based hydrogen isotope exchange catalystsunder the supervision of Prof. Kerr.

I started my PhD with the Hevia group at the University of Bern in October 2021 to further my interest inpolar organometallic chemistry.

In my free time I enjoy spending time in the mountains, hiking and climbing.
