Current Members

I finished my PhD with Michael Cowley at Edinburgh in 2019 on the topic of low-oxidation state silicon. Before that I carried out projects in the Woollins and Ashbrook groups at St Andrews, where I completed my MChem in 2015, and in the Fillipou group at Bonn where I carried out a research placement. I’m sticking with main group chemistry in the Hevia group where I’m now studying boron compounds as trans-metal traps. I spend most of my spare time climbing, obstacle racing and running in the hills.
